McCain Chips is a European brand of frozen french fries. Overseas, they're known for their elaborate and innovative advertising, in one instance, promoting their chips through an entire Bollywood musical number.

Director Mathew Cullen was inspired by the Sorcerer's Apprentice, transplanting the visual symphony from a mouse magician to an ordinary farmer. As conductor, the farmer parts the clouds, raises the sun, causes it to rain, and ultimately grows a full crop of potatoes and sunflowers.

My role was to handle a number of CG potato plants and sunflowers comped onto bluescreen plates of ground furrows. A couple of examples are the first ray of sun causing a sunflower to sprout and blossom, and the hero wide shot of the farmer admiring his crop.
