THE INCREDIBLE HULK Most of my work on "The Incredible Hulk" focused on the university raid sequence. As shot, the footage featured overcast skies throughout. As scripted, an oncoming storm was building, where, by the end of the sequence, it would start raining. On the surface, these seemed like fairly straightforward sky replacements. However, there were a few circumstances which proved otherwise. The footage was shot anamorphic. The camera was moving everywhere, be it handheld, strapped to a car, or dangling from a helicopter. And the director didn't want to color correct the plates, particularly the numerous treelines, to help blend the new stormy skies. I was one of many Flame artists to contribute work to these sky replacements. I also handled a few night helicopter shots, where Bruce kisses Betty before leaping to battle the Abomination. Comped in Inferno and Flame.
